About Our Kennel

 About 15 years ago, I met my first Finnish Lapphund, and I instantly knew this was the breed I wanted to welcome into my life one day. I was drawn to their intelligence, ideal size, hardy nature, and versatility, and the more I learned, the more I appreciated their friendly temperament, trainability, and ability to thrive as family companions, making them wonderful companions for families with children. Today, my passion for the Finnish Lapphund continues to grow as I admire their beauty, heritage, loyalty, and loving personalities. 

 Frost was my very first Finnish Lapphund, born in 2014, and he quickly became the inspiration behind my passion for this incredible breed. Throughout his life, Frost has loved participating in agility and enjoying long walks, showcasing the intelligence, athleticism, and versatility that make Finnish Lapphunds so special. As a proud sire of two litters and 13 puppies, Frost has helped pass along his wonderful temperament, and his gentle nature with children continues to show why Finnish Lapphunds make such amazing family companions. 

Eska was my first female Finnish Lapphund, born in 2014, and she quickly became an incredible example of everything I love about this breed. Intelligent, confident, obedient, and full of personality, Eska excels in both agility and conformation while bringing a joyful energy to everything she does. As the proud mother of two litters totaling 13 puppies, including one litter with Frost, Eska has helped pass along her outstanding qualities. Her unwavering loyalty and loving nature make her the perfect companion—always close by and never far from my side. 

 Lokka is a true Froska Kennels dog, beautifully representing the perfect blend of both her parents (Frost and Eska) in appearance, personality, and temperament. Born in February 2022 as part of the Caribbean Litter and originally named Aruba, she holds a special place as our very first Froska Kennels puppy. Loyal, confident, energetic, and highly intelligent, Lokka showcases the wonderful qualities we strive for in our Finnish Lapphunds, while her gentle nature with children reflects the outstanding family companion this breed is known to be.
